Lyrics Muslim Belal – The Best of Mankind

The Best of Mankind Lyrics – Muslim Belal

Singer: Muslim Belal
Title: The Best of Mankind

Imagine a football team without a manager
A country without a leader
Imagine a class without a teacher
Or a church with no preacher

You wanna live a life with no rules
No prophet, no example
Well that’s a life of no direction, a life of no order
I grew up on the stories of the prophets, the books of the Bible

Abraham, Jesus and his disciples
Yeah from school, primary, singing songs in assembly
Who built the Ark? Brother Noah, proudly
They taught us about the messengers

They taught us about the mеssage
But didn’t teach us the Last Prophеt, Muhammad (pbuh)
Like, how could they miss out such a vital part?
That’s like giving me no keys, but giving me a car

Now we look up to the stars, when we need some inspiration
Or we go on YouTube, in search of motivation
And we wonder why we’re lost and why we’re failing
We should turn to Al-Amin, he (pbuh) came to save the nation

And this wasn’t for personal benefit or self-gain
This wasn’t for riches or like today, people chasing fame
If anything, because of this, he suffered so much pain
Just so this message could reach us today

And when they offered him money, or they offered him women
He said you can offer the Sun and Moon, I wouldn’t trade for this religion, nah
He set such an example in his lifetime
Just to benefit the rest of mankind

He (pbuh) taught us to have manners
He (pbuh) taught us to have good character
Taught us to be good to each other and our neighbour
He (pbuh) taught us equality

He (pbuh) taught us strive for excellence
Anything we do, do it properly
He (pbuh) taught us to have principles
He (pbuh) taught us to have discipline

To be patient and understanding
He (pbuh) taught us to be caring
He (pbuh) taught us to be humble
Taught us to be simple and be grateful

He (pbuh) taught us about survival
He (pbuh) taught us to have strength
He (pbuh) taught us to have forgiveness for our rivals
He (pbuh) taught us to be kind

He (pbuh) taught us the best of men are those who are good to their wives
And the best of mankind are those who benefit mankind
He (pbuh) gave us the keys to this life
If we only chose to live by these morals and examples

Imagine the world we’d live in now, so beautiful
Instead we do the opposite
Our idea of free will
Made this a world full of hatred and criminals

In a time of influencers, so many people are influential
Why do we rather look up to these people?
Whether it’s for being spiritual or beautiful
They ain’t got the answers, they’re breaking down in front of you

It’s like we don’t want a peaceful life
It’s like we don’t wanna get it right
We think we know best, how comes we’re all depressed?
And half of us can’t even sleep at night?

You see everything in this world that comes with instructions
Teaching us how to use, or how to handle
You think God will give us life without giving us any?
You’re crazy, He gave us Muhammad (pbuh) as a manual

What do you know about this prophet?
What do you know about his life?
Always known for honesty, a man that never lies
Now it’s for you to decide

If you take this message seriously and that would define
Where you spend your eternity
Micheal Hart compiled a book
Who’s the Most Influential people in this world since time begun?

He done a list of 100, and out those 100 people
He put Muhammad (pbuh) at number one
And this ain’t about blind faith
So much evidence on top of evidence to support this claim

How many scientists do you know that converted to Islam?
After seeing what was revealed in the Holy Qur’an
All them scientific facts about embryology
Was impossible for him to know with no technology

And he said: don’t praise me like they praise the son of Mary
I am just a slave, a slave’s what you should call me
Humble, live simple, life with the poor
Die with the poor, be raised with the poor

This is the best of men
Trust me do your research, before your life ends
He said: the bedouins will be competing
In the building of tall buildings

And now we got the Burj Khalifa
And did you hear about Saudi Arabia
Saying they’re going to do one better
When they build the Kingdom Tower

These revelations came, to a man that’s in a cave
That’s a man that can’t read, there’s no way that he can see
The way that we would be, living today
And we ignore this message, we should be ashamed

And the truth is we need this
We’re some lost souls broken in pieces
We need an example, we need guidance
We are failing, we need assistance

His message was the same as the messengers that came before him
Don’t praise, praise the Lord that created him (pbuh)
This is the best of men (pbuh)
That’s why I said the test of men

There’s no true god worthy of worship except Allah
And Muhammad (pbuh) is the last messenger of Allah
