21/08 Lyrics – TOM

Singer: TOM
Title: 21/08

This {?} offend me
Saw no less than the leader in me
No hope left, don’t fold yet, I feed the envy
Remember when it was a liter in me

Leaned upon the spirit
Cleaned the act a little bit and still a fiend for plenty
The pinnacle of penmanship is here to lend a little fear
Pin it to the air

Fill it to the brim
Shame I need to rap just to admit my sin
Plain and simple fact is I’m a victim of my innocence
My every move is in defense

The weather {?} according to what my pen reflects
This isn’t rapping
It’s assortment of what I render left with any semblance of importance
Ignore the {?}’s calls but I sent a text

Why are you so forlorn on the microphone
Because I’m at home when writing poems of what I might’ve owned if I’d have took a different step
I live what the pen has willed for me
My every move is in defense, and still she sees

My fist imparts {?}s
It’s wishful thinking
Speaking of its distant aunts and uncles
I live the pain within this punctuation

Somewhere at age six I fell in love with waiting
Maybe when that fella struck his lady
Hard to say
We’re all in need of saving

Took me twenty-one broken years to even face it
My sin shame {?} take it
Somewhere along the way I fell in love with hatred
My fist imparts {?}s

My fist has scarred my loved ones
